Ensure the logo retains it’s original aspect ratio and is not stretch or distorted, excluding cases where it is placed in a 3D space, or similarly, is warped proportionally to emulate being in 3D space in a 2D image.

SPELLING: SCP

Ensure “SCP” is spelled correctly if you can. Here are some common errors we see in titles, thumbnails, etc:

- Scp
- S.C.P.
- scp

Should be spelled simply as “SCP”, it’s more of a uniformity thing in the SCP community. Not a huge deal, but helps us (and you) look good and makes your content easier to find!

TITLE FORMAT

Again, among the many “not a huge deal” topics, but ensure the formal of the “SCP: 5K” title is correct. There is a colon right after “SCP” with a single space after to break the 5K text. Also ensure all characters are capitalized, there is no undercase characters in our game’s title. We also encourage you to keep “SCP” and “5K” paired together, doing just one by itself can damage your SEO and overall visibility.

Common errors:
- SCP 5K (no colon)
- SCP 5k (undercased “K”)
- 5K (no “SCP” prefix)

We will soon be providing downloads to original render-quality trailers and other videos we are happy to be re-uploaded or similar. Coming soon!

All videos we produce in 2023 and onward will not use third-party (licensed) music to ensure creators do not have to worry about licensing. We will be producing our own tracks again like we’ve done in the Crowdfund Pitch trailer.

ATTRIBUTION

If you are re-uploading our trailers and/or doing a breakdown video or stream off of any of our publications, all we ask for you to do is to ensure people have a direct link to our Steam page or the chat, pinned comments, or any other placement people can easily find (not every single one, of course - just one of the above).

At the very least ensure “SCP: 5K” is mentioned in-title.
